Job Description:

The National Aquarium's IT department is seeking a Data Reporting Specialist. The Data Reporting Specialist's role is to design and generate reports to provide business value from stored information and to design and support the database systems at the National Aquarium's Baltimore Venue.
The Data Reporting Specialist will investigate and recommend new technology to meet customers reporting needs; participate in creation of new applications that may have a direct link to reporting tools and needs; assist in specification of hardware and software for databases and reporting systems;and work with business systems analyst and internal customers to understand and interpret reporting needs.

Required Skills/Experience: |
The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of directly related work experience in database administration and reporting; profeciency in reporting environment including: SQL Reports Server, SQL Analysis Server, and Crystal/Business Objects. The candidate must also be proficient in database environments including: Microsoft SQL 2000, Microsoft SQL 2005, MySQL.
